Death Notice: Donald E. Schumann of Glen Ellyn

Donale E. Schumann, 88, of Glen Ellyn, died Jan. 11 in Wheaton. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a commercial airline pilot for 30 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, and his son, Donald. He is survived by his children, Cheryl and Cathy, and his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton.
