Electronic Parking Kiosks, App Coming To Glen Ellyn
The electronic kiosks will accept cash and credit and will replace the current pay boxes.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Residents and visitors in Glen Ellyn will soon have an added convenience when they park downtown. The village will install two electronic parking kiosks in the Duane/Lorraine parking lot and will implement an app to let customers pay for parking online.
According to village officials, the daily parking rate will remain at $2 and no additional fees will be incurred for drivers who use a credit or debit card. The electronic kioks do not affect monthly permit parking.
Once the electronic parking kiosks are installed, the former pay boxes will be removed. Staff from the kiosk company and the village will be on hand to help drivers become acquainted with the new equipment in its early stages.

In late summer, residents will be able to use the Passport Parking App to pay for parking online. The app charges an additional fee of $.37 to pay for parking. For a $3 convenience fee, residents will also be able to pay their parking citations via the new app and on the Passport Parking website.
Those who prefer not to pay their parking citations online will still be able to do so at the Glen Ellyn Police Department, 65 S. Park Blvd., without being charged an additional fee.
