Freddy's Now Serving Steakburgers, Custard In Glendale Heights
The new restaurant will host its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday.

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL — If you live near Glendale Heights and you're craving a steakburger, you'll be glad to know there's a new restaurant in town. The recently opened Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers will serve up steakburgers, chili dogs, shoestring fries, and freshly churned frozen custard in a laidback setting at 556 E. North Ave.
The restaurant, which will have its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, marks the fifth Chicagoland location for Freddy's, which was founded in 2003 by a pair of brothers and their good friend. The restaurant gets its name from the brothers' father, Freddy Simon, a veteran of World War II.
The menu at Freddy's features a mouthwatering selection of sandwiches and hot dogs in addition to the restaurant's beloved steakburgers. You can nosh on a grilled chicken breast sandwich or patty melt, or indulge in a Chicago-style hot dog.
