GE Lakers and Midwest FC Supplemental Travel Soccer Tryouts
The Glen Ellyn Lakers and Midwest FC travel soccer teams are holding supplemental tryouts on October 15th and November 4th.
The Glen Ellyn Lakers and Midwest FC competitive travel soccer teams are holding supplemental tryouts for U8 to high school players to finalize teams for the 2019-2020 year.
All players must register for tryouts (it’s free to register) at www.gepark.org/register. The Midwest FC tryouts will take place outdoors at Ackerman Park. The Glen Ellyn Lakers tryouts will take place on the indoor turf at Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center. Both facilities are located at 800 St. Charles Road, Glen Ellyn.

- Midwest FC High School Boys: October 15th, 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
- Glen Ellyn Lakers U8-U9: November 4th, 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Glen Ellyn Lakers U10-U11: November 4th, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Glen Ellyn Lakers U12-U14: November 4th, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Both Glen Ellyn Lakers and Midwest FC have had their share of success. In 2018, the organizations combined for 19 first-place finishes and 20 second-place finishes at events and tournaments throughout the year. All age levels are coached and trained by the professional training group Future Pros, which will help players grow and develop across all skill levels.
