Glen Ellyn Buona Beef Now Open
The restaurant, which opened in mid-June, is famous for its huge beef sandwiches, ice cream rolls, and more.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — In case you missed it while cruising down Roosevelt Road, Buona Beef is now open. The chain restaurant, which is famous for its over-the-top beef sandwiches, officially opened for business on June 18.
Beef might be the main event at Buona, but the menu has a wide variety of fast casual eats. The selection includes burgers, hand-rolled pizza, charbroiled sausage, and meatball and sausage bowls.
The restaurant also offers some options for vegetarians and vegans. Chopped salads are available and can be ordered with or without meat. There's also a roasted beet and quinoa salad and a caprese sandwich.

Buona's desserts range from cannoli stuffed with chocolate chips to the restaurant's signature rainbow cone ice cream cake roll.
Buona's opening comes on the heels of another much-anticipated restaurant opening in Glen Ellyn. Andy's Frozen Custard opened for business in spring and is hosting its official grand opening on July 12.
