Glen Ellyn Earns 8th Safest City in Illinois
The city is named number 55 in the 100 safest cities in the United States.
Neighborhood Scout has released its ranking of the 100 safest cities in the United States and Glen Ellyn has been listed 55 out of the 100 safest cities.
It also is the 9th safest city in the state of Illinois. Lake in the Hills was listed as the safest city in the state and the second safest in the nation.
Neighborhood Scout says that it ranks cities based on population and safety from all crimes. The statistics for Glen Ellyn said the annual crimes per 1,000 residents is 10.9.
