In his Patch Candidate Profile, Ladesic stated that he believes the most pressing issue facing Glen Ellyn is "getting back on our feet after the impacts of COVID-19." He added, "[W]e have to do a lot of work to get back up to speed as the virus subsides. Both for our businesses and for our residents."

When asked what sets him apart from his opponent, Mark Senak, Ladesic answered, in part, "I have demonstrated leadership by making decisions which benefitted the community as a whole and occasionally were unpopular with some. The other candidate put the wishes of his special interests ahead of the residents as a whole."

Mark Senak is currently serving his second term as Glen Ellyn Village Trustee. He works professionally as an attorney.

In his Patch Candidate Profile, Senak wrote that the most pressing issue Glen Ellyn faces is "[t]o promote economic development, while still maintaining the charm and character of our village." He added, "To achieve this balance, I intend to listen to our residents."

When asked what sets him apart from his opponent, Peter Ladesic, Senak responded, "When I walk down Main Street, I see the panorama of the night sky and the moon silhouetted against the Civic Center cupola. I see families gathered waiting for Santa to lite the Christmas tree, or kids trick-or treating free of traffic and congestion that over-development can bring. When my opponent walks down Main Street, he sees how big of a building can be built on that block, or how many more cars can be parked on that street."

And the cool Glen Ellyn vibe we all know and love."
