Glen Ellyn will get a new eight-lot subdivision near the Glen Oak Country Club.
Glen Ellyn trustees recently approved the subdivision, which will be developed by KF Walter Homes’ Enclaves of Glen Oak, on about four acres that Glen Ellyn plans to annex, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The developer plans to extend Acorn Avenue “in a hairpin-like configuration to access the narrow, rectangular-shaped site,” according to the newspaper.
