Glen Ellyn Halloween Festival, Parade Planned For Oct 26

The Halloween parade kicks off at 9:45 a.m. Saturday.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn has planned a spooky soiree to celebrate Halloween in 2019. The annual Halloween Spooktacular Festival and Parade will kick off at 9:45 a.m. and will feature interactive games and other kid-friendly frights and delights.

Halloween Parade Route

The parade will step off from the corner of Glenwood and Crescent Boulevard and then make its way east on Crescent before turning northward on Forest Avenue. Next, the parade will turn left and head west on Pennsylvania Avenue before turning south on Main Street and coming to a close.

Be sure to bring a trick-or-treat bag, as there's likely to be some candy thrown throughout the parade.

After the parade, kids can take part in games and other interactive arts and crafts activities presented by Glen Ellyn businesses and community groups. Throughout the event, which lasts from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., you can stay warm with hot apple cider and donuts provided by the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.

Guests are also encouraged to bring food donations to benefit the food pantry.
