Glen Ellyn Holiday Greens Pickup Starts Jan. 6

GLEN ELLYN, IL — The village of Glen Ellyn will begin its annual holiday tree recycling program starting Jan. 6. During the holiday greens pickup program, natural trees will be collected during the first three trash pickup days in January.

Holiday tree pickup will take place on Jan. 6, Jan. 13, and Jan. 20. To make sure your tree gets picked up, remove all lights, garland, ornaments, and tinsel and place your Christmas tree on the curb of your home before the morning of one of the pickup days.

No stickers are required to dispose of Christmas trees and trees should not be in plastic bags.
