Glen Ellyn Luxury Home With Theater, Three-Season Room Will Go Up for Auction

GLEN ELLYN, IL - A custom-built luxury home in Glen Ellyn will go up for auction on May 7.

The starting bid will be $850,000 for the 4,802-square-foot brick and stone home that includes five bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, according to a press release from Sheldon Good & Company. The auction will be held at 10 a.m. on May 7 at the home, which is located at 750 Crescent Boulevard.

The home features a game room, home theater, a three-season room, home office/library, two wood burning fireplaces, and a three-car garage. The home is located in the Lake Ellyn area and is within walking distance of Glenbard West High School.

The sellers purchased the home in 2003 for $1.3 million and have since moved. They opted for the auction process to be able to sell the residence within a defined period of time, according to the news release.

“These are motivated sellers and there is a potentially great deal here. The auction provides a value for both buyer and seller,” said Craig Post, executive director of Sheldon Good & Company.

Sheldon Good will hold an open house at the home from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 3, April 10, April 17, April 24 and May 1.
