Glen Ellyn Playgrounds Reopen To The Public
The Glen Ellyn Park District noted that playground equipment will not be sanitized, so those who use it do so at their own risk.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Park District has reopened playgrounds to the public as of June 27. The reopening comes amid guidance in phase 4 of Gov. J.B. Pritzker's Restore Illinois plan.

To help prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, the Glen Ellyn Park District is recommending safety guidelines for those who go to the playground. They are:

- Stay home if you or your child are sick or have coronavirus symptoms
- Wash hands or use hand sanitizer before and after using playground equipment
- Avoid crowded playgrounds and minimize contact between children
- No more than 50 people at a time are allowed on a playground
- Practice social distancing and wear a mask when you cannot safely socially distance
