Glen Ellyn Restaurant Week Invites Food Lovers Near and Far

The most delicious week of year is starting Monday, September 21 through Sunday, September 27! From International flair to American classic, from fine dining to fast casual, Glen Ellyn has over 80 restaurants and offers a variety of dining options for families, date night and more.

Restaurant week will offer prix fixe menus, special promotions and/or classic signature items which makes each restaurant unique. During The Glen Ellyn Restaurant Week, no tickets or special passes are required, but reservations are highly recommended if dining in, or on one of the many outside patios around town. Also note most restaurants will offer delivery or pick-up options.

“The mission for the Glen Ellyn Restaurant Week is to highlight the wide-ranging dining options and support our beloved restaurants. We are encouraging our restaurants to be creative and show off their culinary skills”, said Dawn Smith, Executive Director of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce. “This is the ideal time for visitors and residents to experience our diverse and vibrant dining scene, as well as, it is the perfect opportunity for a day of shopping and find all what Glen Ellyn has to offer.”

At the Glen Ellyn Village Board meeting on Monday, September 14, the Board will proclaim the week of September 21-27, 2020 as Restaurant Week. The proclamation will be a celebration and recognition of our restaurant businesses in Glen Ellyn who have continued to serve and support our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Restaurant Week is brought to you by the combined efforts of the Downtown Alliance, Village of Glen Ellyn and The Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce. Free parking is available at the village’s “Park by the Path” program. Use the map as a resource in helping locate convenient parking in the downtown.
