Glen Ellyn Runners Compete at Boston Marathon: RESULTS
Congrats to all the local runners who competed in the Boston Marathon Monday.

 Twelve runners from Glen Ellyn competed in and completed Monday's running of the Boston Marathon.
Michael Boeh earned the best time among village runners, finishing the race in 3:17.20, according to the marathon's unofficial results. Here is a look at other top finishers from Glen Ellyn:
- Adam Jorgensen: 3:25.32
- Thom Martin: 3:35.06
- Fang Hu: 3:44.55
The top three finishers overall were Ethiopians. Lemi Berhanu Hayle won the Men’s Marathon, besting defending champ Lelisa Desisa at 2:12:45, very modest for a Boston-winning time. Adhane Tsegay clocked in at 2:14:02.
For the first time since 1986, a Massachusetts native finished in the men's top 10. Zachary Hines, a South Hadley native who lives in Dallas, finished 10th with a time of 2:21:37.
