Glen Ellyn Sisters Launch Pet Resale Shop In Wheaton

GLEN ELLYN, IL — In Wheaton's newest resale shop, you won't find any antique furniture or gently used parkas. Well, not parkas for humans, anyway. Instead, the walls of Just Pets Resale are lined with leashes, toys, and educational books with one demographic in mind: dogs, cats, and other beloved critters.

Just Pets Resale opened its doors on Nov. 4 at 121 N. Main St. in Wheaton. According to the business's Facebook page, they offer both new and used pet care items and handmade for up to 75% off what you'd find in a retail chain store.

Furry friends aren't the only ones who can get goodies at Just Pets Resale. The store carries items for fish, reptiles, and other animals.

According to Suburban Life Magazine, a pair of sisters (and dog lovers) from Glen Ellyn, Alice and Katie Phillips, own Just Pets Resale and plan to add dog training to their services come springtime. The sisters donate proceeds of their handmade toys and other items to FURRever Friends Animal Rescue in Rolling Meadows.

If you have pet items you no longer need, Just Pets Resale accepts new and gently used donations.
