Glen Ellyn Starts Biweekly Curbside Compost Pickup For Winter
Curbside compost pickup will switch to a biweekly schedule starting Dec. 9.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn will switch to its biweekly winter curbside composting collection schedule starting Dec. 9. The new schedule begins on the final day for yard waste and leaf collection for the season.
The curbside composting schedule will be as follows:
- Dec. 9
- Dec. 23
- Jan. 6
- Jan. 20
- Feb. 3
- Feb. 17
- March 2
- March 16
- March 30
With the curbside composting option, residents can dispose of organic food waste to be composted. Weekly curbside composting will resume in April 2020, as will yard waste collection.
