Glen Station Steakhouse Now Open In Glen Ellyn

The steakhouse serves up craft cocktails and dishes with ingredients made from scratch.

GLEN ELLYN, IL --- Glen Ellyn officials will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 17 to welcome the village's newest steakhouse. Glen Station Steakhouse, which opened in late December, features a diverse menu of craft cocktails and entrees made from scratch with housemade sauces and sustainably sourced ingredients.

Helmed by Chef Martin Mandragon, Glen Station offers brunch and dinner options that focus on handcut steak and seafood. In addition to petit filets, New York strips, and hanger steaks, Glen Station Steakhouse offers braised leg of lamb, lobster-stuffed ravioli, and Cajun-seasoned fusilli pasta with fresh vegetables.

For brunch, diners can choose from such items as southwest frittata made with cage-free eggs, french toast made with brioche bread, and vegetarian hash. Brunch is available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Glen Station Steakhouse is open Monday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday for brunch. The website says that reservations are "strongly recommended."

The Glen Station Steakhouse ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 17 at the restaurant, located at 462 N. Park Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
