Glen Ellyn Man Charged in Stabbing and Home Invasion
The man cut his former roommate on the arm and demanded money
Police have charged two men for a home invasion in Lisle last Thursday, according to the Daily Herald and CBS Chicago.
The victim told police that his former roommate and another man forced their way into his Lisle residence and demanded money. According to police the two men were Josue A. Calleros, 22, Lisle, and William G. Smith, 18, who last had an address near Glen Ellyn.
Smith cut the victim's forearm, then Calleros held the victim at knifepoint while Smith searched for money.

The victim told Smith and Calleros that he could get money from the restaurant where he worked. They took two cars to the restaurant, and Smith followed the victim inside.
The victim told a coworker about the incident, and the manager of the restaurant told the Smith to leave. Surveillance footage appears to show Smith puncturing the tires of the victim's car before fleeing with Calleros.

Calleros was arrested on Jan. 20 in Lisle, and Smith was taken into custody on Monday in Lombard. Both suspects were being held in the DuPage County Jail. Smith faces felony charges of home invasion, aggravated unlawful restraint, and aggravated battery. Calleros was charged with home invasion and aggravated unlawful restraint, which are both felonies.
