GoFundMe Started For Teen Killed In Wheaton Motorcycle Crash

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Friends and family members are mourning the loss of Joey Pasdo, 18, who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Wheaton on March 23. Pasdo is remebered as a "fierce young man who brought a smile and a laugh to everyone he knew," according to a GoFundMe page started to benefit his family.
According to police, the fatal crash, which involved an SUV, took place at the intersection of Butterfield Road and Briarcliffe Boulevard.
Pasdo graduated from Glenbard South High School in 2020, according to his obituary. He enjoyed playing hockey, skiing and fishing, but his main passion was riding his motorcycle and working on cars.

"He left this world doing what he loved, riding his bike just after tuning it up," his obituary states. "He was known for his love of life and always living every day to the fullest."
The Joey Pasdo Memorial Fund is raising money for Pasdo's family in the wake of his death. As of Tuesday afternoon, the campaign had raised more than $30,000 of its $20,000 goal.
