Gun Stolen, Car Burglarized In Glen Ellyn: Police Blotter

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A gun was stolen during a home burglary, and a car was also burglarized during the week of June 14, according to a recent Glen Ellyn police blotter.

Home Burglarized In First Block Of Briar Street

A home was burglarized in the first block of Briar Street around 4:35 p.m. on June 15, police say. Deputy Chief Kurt Vavra told Patch a gun was reported stolen.

Car Burglarized In 500 Block Of Hill Avenue

Police say an unlocked car was burglarized in the 500 block of Hill Avenue overnight between 9 p.m. on June 13 and 9 a.m. on June 14. "Miscellaneous items" were reported stolen, according to Deputy Chief Vavra.
