Innovation DuPage Inches Closer To Glen Ellyn Civic Center Move

Innovation DuPage's $1.5M proposal includes integrating COD's College of Entrepreneurship.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — It's starting to look more and more certain that Innovation DuPage will be moving into the Glen Ellyn Civic Center. College of DuPage recently approved the project to register as a non-profit.

According to a release from the Village of Glen Ellyn, College of DuPage will fund more than $1.5 million in renovations to the civic center if approved. The new additions would occupy the former Glen Ellyn police station and the building's rear garage.

The board's final workshop and vote to approve Innovation DuPage is set for Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Innovation DuPage is currently aiming to open the new space in 2018.
