Man Arrested for Domestic Battery After Fleeing on Foot

Robert Brown, 21, of the 2100 block of W. Randolph in Chicago, was arrested Monday on charges of domestic battery and possession of cannabis.

“The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a screaming female who stated she was just battered,” Sheriff’s police said in a written release. “Upon on arrival of responding units, it was determined that the suspect involved in the incident had fled the area on foot.”

Brown was arrested about a mile from where the incident occurred.

Brown is currently being held in the DuPage County Jail and will be in bond court Monday afternoon.
