GLEN ELLYN, IL — The Glen Ellyn Planning Commission will meet May 14 to discuss a potential redevelopment to the McChesney and Miller site, which was once home to a long-time grocery store. The meeting will consider a pre-application proposal by Holladay Properties for a potential mixed-use development at the 460 Crescent Boulevard location.

According to an update from the Village of Glen Ellyn, Holladay Properties is proposing a five- to six-story building that would house 86 apartments and 1,203 square feet of commercial space. If approved, the building would also accommodate 104 parking spots.

The proposal must first be reviewed and approved by the planning commission before Holladay Properties submits a formal proposal to the Village of Glen Ellyn. The May 14 meeting will give Holladay properties initial feedback on the concept.
