Northbound Park Boulevard Restricted To One Lane In Glen Ellyn
Northbound traffic will be limited to one lane starting Monday.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — As summer road construction and maintenance projects are underway in Glen Ellyn, motorists may run into some hiccups while traveling. The most recent project will affect traffic on Park Boulevard, which will be limited to one lane going northbound as of Monday, July 9, village officials said in a news release.
At this time, crews will start working on improvements to sewer and water utilities, in addition to road repairs on Park Boulevard between Roosevelt Rd. and Hill Ave.
It is anticipated that the one-way northbound only traffic configuration of Park Boulevard will be implemented on Monday, July 9 through approximately early November. Please look for the changeable message signs on Park to alert motorists of this new configuration. pic.twitter.com/TNwLR2zCYA

Electronic signs will be posted to help direct drivers, who are encouraged to use northbound Main St. as an alternate route. Officials say they will strive to "accommodate northbound traffic" on Park Boulevard, but that motorists should expect delays and potential closures, especially during the daytime.
