Pickup Truck Driver Accused Of Firing Gun In Road Rage Incident
Bail set at $1 million for 25-year-old man accused of shooting at a car during an apparent road rage incident in Glen Ellyn.

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A driver was taken into custody after a person reported that someone fired several gunshots at their car during a road rage incident early Friday morning, Glen Ellyn police said.
Carlos Pagan, 25, appeared Saturday before DuPage County Judge Kenton Skarin on one felony count of aggravated discharge of a firearm. Bail was set at $1 million.
Around 5:20 a.m., a motorist called 911 to report that the driver of a black pickup truck fired several shots into their vehicle near Roosevelt Road and Lambert Road, police said. Officers from Lombard, Weather and College of DuPage police departments took part in the search for the truck.

Police found the driver, later identified as Pagan, sitting in his truck in a parking lot near the intersection of Roosevelt and Lambert roads, according to a police news release. Officers searched the truck and found a gun, police said. Pagan was taken into custody. No one was injured in what police are saying was a road rage incident.
Pagan’s next court date is scheduled for June 28 in the DuPage County Courthouse.
