Direct from the McAninch Arts Center’s Belushi Performance Hall stage, comes a rip-roaring live streamed broadcast of Presley, Perkins, Lewis & Cash: “A Million Dollar Christmas” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19. The show features a full catalogue of heartwarming holiday tunes by four rock ‘n roll legends, all done up in that unmistakable rockabilly style. Following the Dec. 19 live streamed performance, the taped version of the concert will continue to be available on demand through Jan. 3.
“A Million Dollar Christmas” comes from the group that produced “A Million Dollar Quartet,” based on the legendary impromptu gathering of rock legends Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash at Sun Records in Memphis. The critically acclaimed Presley, Perkins, Lewis & Cash troupe has made a name for themselves portraying the four illustrious musicians who need no introduction. The performance features all the classic hits from four of the greatest rock ‘n rollers of all time, plus festive songs added to the traditional set list just for the holidays.
