Reel in fun at the Gone Fishin' Derby on June 15

Kids can cast their lines at the Glen Ellyn Park District’s Gone Fishin’ Derby on Saturday, June 15. The annual event will once again take place at Lake Ellyn Park (645 Lenox Road, Glen Ellyn) from 8am-9:30am. The $10 registration fee per child ($15 for non-residents) includes bait, activities, snacks, and a chance to win trophies! Space is limited and participants must register by June 10th to ensure their spot on the bank.

All children must have an adult with them in order to participate. Trophies will be awarded for the biggest catch of the derby, the smallest catch of the derby, the most fish caught by one person, and the fisherman with the best outfit. To register, visit www.gepark.org/register.
