Roll over to Touch-a-Truck on May 4th

The free event will feature over 20 vehicles, steamroller demos, giveaways, and more at Maryknoll Park from 10am-12pm.

Children looking to get close-up views of big trucks - including police vehicles and fire trucks - will be able to do just that at the Glen Ellyn Park District's Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, May 4th from 10am-12pm. This free event will be held in the parking lot at Maryknoll Park (845 Pershing Avenue, Glen Ellyn).

Some of the over 20 trucks available to explore include an ambulance, a UPS package car, CDH's Mobile Stroke Unit, and a heavy-duty wrecker tow truck. A steamroller will be on-site, ready to flatten aluminum cans brought to the event by visitors. This year's event will also feature truck-themed inflatables, prize raffles, and giveaways. The last 30 minutes of the event will be horn-free, meaning no sirens or horns, for little ones with sensitive ears.

Parking is located near building 6 at the Roosevelt Glen Corporate Center, 799 Roosevelt Road, where a free school bus shuttle will pick up and drop off Touch-A-Truck visitors every 15 minutes. There will also be limited parking available at Maryknoll Park.
