Semi Loses Load, Causes Traffic Delays In Carol Stream

CAROL STREAM, IL — A semi lost its load late Friday afternoon in Carol Stream, causing traffic delays. The incident took place around 11 a.m. and closed multiple lanes at the intersection of North Avenue and Schmale Road, according to a post from Carol Stream Police Department.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area as crews work to right the semi. Police said around 11:30 a.m. that traffic was "very congested."
