Sweet Basil Cafe Now Open In Glen Ellyn

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Sweet Basil Café is now open in Glen Ellyn. The café, which features a massive selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner eats, opened Jan. 20 at 549 Roosevelt Rd.

The breakfast menu at Sweet Basil goes well beyond your typical café fare, offering up a variety of inventive entrées. Diners can dig into savory selections like prime rib omelets and barbecue pork waffles, or sweet treats, including Nutella-stuffed French toast.

Sweet Basil Café also boasts a whopping burger menu, sandwich selection and panini spread. For dinner, diners can choose from such favorites as the Sweet Basil meat loaf sundae or a Greek-inspired gyros plate.

Family-owned and -operated, Sweet Basil Café is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sweet Basil Café has eight locations throughout Illinois, including Peoria, Skokie, Springfield and Champaign.
