Village offices will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of the 4th of July holiday. Following this holiday closure, the Village’s Civic Center will be closed on Tuesday, July 6 and Wednesday, July 7 for maintenance to the Village's enterprise resource planning software. With this software upgrade and facility closure, residents and businesses should plan ahead. The software being upgraded is responsible for most of the functions performed by the Finance and Community Development departments, therefore, it will be unavailable to Village of Glen Ellyn staff, citizens and businesses during this time period. Most notable to citizens, cashiering (including utility billing) and the ability to accept or process permits will be unavailable during this two day span. Some forms of payments will be unavailable or limited during the upgrade process. The full update to the system is expected to conclude by end of day on Wednesday, July 7 with the Civic Center reopening for business on Thursday, July 8. We hope this advanced notice will allow additional time to plan ahead for bill payment and/or permitting.
