Gated Community in Glenview Will Have Nearly 50 Homes

The Enclave at the Grove is set to break ground this fall.

The second gated community to hit the village of Glenview will open its doors this fall.

Construction on The Enclave at the Grove, 1111 Milwaukee Ave., is scheduled to begin in October, with a model home open by the end of fall, according to the Glenview Announcements.

The development will feature 48 houses on 13.5 acres of land previously owned by The Redemptorists of Glenview and Houston-based developer David Weekley Homes is donating an additional 8 acres of the site, which was annexed from unincorporated Cook County to the Glenview Park District.

The homes will be of five different floor plans that include first-floor “owner’s retreats,” according to a release. The opening will be the second gated community to take shape in Glenview after Princeton Village at Willow and Shermer roads.
