Is Glenview's Real Estate Market Booming?

Glenview residents could see a bump in the number of new neighbors in the near future. 

In an interview with WGN, Chicago Magazine’s Dennis Rodkin, said Glenview's real estate market has been among the healthiest of all Chicago suburbs, for buyers and sellers.

"The houses are flying off the shelves, these days," Rodkin said on WGN. "A few years ago, before the bust, maybe you couldn't afford to get in."

People selling their homes are in luck because average home prices are going up, although Rodkin says most homes are still valued less then they were about 10 years ago. 

For buyers, interest rates are low. Although, Rodkin said these are rising as well. 

The verdict: If you're thinking about selling or buying a home, now could be the time to get serious about the decision.
