GLENVIEW, IL — Doug Collins is known for many things. He was a member of the famed 1972 U.S. Men's Basketball team that won a silver medal following a controversial final versus Russia at the Munich Games. He coached the Chicago Bulls during Michael Jordan's early years with the team from 1986-1989. Collins is a member of the College Basketball Hall of Fame. He had a successful NBA career as a player.

Collins is also currently a resident of Glenview. This might not be a thing for much longer as a home of his is for sale. As reported by the Chicago Tribune, the three-bedroom duplex town home in Glenview went on the market Jan. 21 for $825,000.

Collins, 69, who currently serves as a senior advisor of basketball operations for the Bulls, is the father of Northwestern University men's basketball coach Chris Collins.

Born in Benton, Doug Collins played college basketball for Illinois State before being selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1973 NBA Draft. Earlier this month, he was announced as a first-time nominee for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

The Collinses paid $798,490 in 2013 for the 2,493-square-foot house, according to the Chicago Tribune. The home's Realtor.com listing (below) said a sale is contingent.
