North Shore Home 2nd Most Expensive For Sale in Chicago-Area
Winnetka's Le Grand Reve Mansion is among the 10 most expensive homes for sale around Chicagoland, ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com reports.
A French chateau in Winnetka listed at $21.9 million is the second most-expensive home for sale in the Chicago-area, behind the most expensive Chicago-area home for sale--the unfinished full-floor penthouse at the Trump International Hotel & Tower, which is listed at $32, ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com reported.
Le Grand Reve Mansion, a 2-acre property at 68 Locust Rd., was designed by architect Richard Landry and boasts six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a two-story rotunda, Tiffany dome to the spa, wine cellar, an outdoor pool and a covered loggia.
Nine Chicago-area homes are publicly listed for $10 million or more, up from seven in the summer of 2012, the website reported.
