10 Asbestos Pumps Stolen from Driveway

Bikes and a rack that had fallen off a car were also stolen in a separate incident.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Theft

Police are investigating the theft of six bottles of medication, jewelry and two small purses missing from an apartment in the 700 block of Judson Avenue.

Police are investigating a theft at a business in the 1600 block of Green Bay Road of a Michael Korrs wallet and car/house keys. The items were taken sometime between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. July 29.

Ten pumps used for asbestos, a leaf blower and a fan were removed from a driveway in the 1100 block of Taylor Avenue between 4 and 7 a.m. Aug. 1.

Car keyed

Sometime between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 30 a 2003 Gold Lexus was keyed on the driver side doors and front passenger corner panel while parked on the lower level surface lot at First Street and Laurel Avenue.

Retail theft

Two subjects exited the last point of sale at a store in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road at 10:30 p.m. July 31 with multiple bottles of liquor. One subject was confronted by an employee just outside the doors and gave the bag to the employee and ran off. The second subject left the store without any items and ran in the same direction. Additional bottles of liquor were located under a tree nearby.

Fallen bikes stolen

Two bikes and a bike rack fell off of a vehicle at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 1. While the driver was turning around to go back and retrieve them, the bikes and rack were stolen. One red Schwinn road bike and one black and grey Trek mountain bike and bike rack, all of which were damaged from falling on highway, were taken.

Cell phone charger stolen

A blue Scion parked unlocked in a driveway in the 1600 block of Northland Avenue was entered by an unknown person between July 26 and Aug. 2, and a portable cell phone charger was taken.

Graffiti

Graffiti was located on a pump house on Sunset Golf Course property Aug. 2. “SEHK” was sprayed on the wall in red and black lettering and was approximately two feet tall and three feet wide.

Mailbox damaged

A mailbox was damaged sometime between 4 a.m. and 5 p.m. Aug. 3.
