10 Shows Added To Ravinia Summer Concert Schedule
Headliners include Counting Crows, Lauryn Hill, The Roots, John Legend and Marie Osmond in her Ravinia Festival debut.

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Ravinia Festival Association officials announced 10 additional performances planned for the second half of the outdoor summer concerts.
The new shows were announced Wednesday, a week before tickets are scheduled to go on sale for concerts in July and the first half of August.
Starting Aug. 13, pavilion seating will increase to full capacity for concerts, according to Ravinia officials. Tickets for the first half of the season will be sold in physically distanced groups of two or four seats.

Pre-reserved designed areas will be available for groups of two, four or six at Ravinia's South Lawn, with a screen showing a live feed from the stage. The North Lawn is set for first-come, first-served general admission seating with capacity scaled to guidelines at the time.
All state-mandated capacity limits in Illinois are due to be lifted Friday.

Newly announced headliners for the final six weeks of the season include Counting Crows, Lady A, The Roots, John Legend and the Ravinia debuts of Marie Osmond and special guest David Archuleta.
A previously planned Sept. 19 performance by Ziggy Marley has been cancelled, with Max Weinberg's Jukebox now scheduled to play that date, according to Ravinia officials.
Festival officials also announced Ruben Studdard would open for Brian McKnight July 30 by performing covers of Luther Vandross tunes. And on Aug. 7, conductor Teddy Abrams will lead the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in a salute to Leonard Bernstein.

Tickets for shows in July and the first half of August go on sale via the festival's website at 9 a.m. June 16, while tickets for the newly announced shows will not be available until July 21.

- Aug. 25 — Marie Osmond with special guest David Archuleta (Ravinia debuts)
- Aug. 26 — Allison Russell (Ravinia debut) opens for Lake Street Dive
- Sept. 3 — Lady A
- Sept. 4 — The Roots
- Sept. 5,6 — John Legend, with opener The War and Treaty
- Sept. 19 — Max Weinberg’s Jukebox
- Sept. 23 — Frank Orrall (of Thievery Corporation), "Carousel concert"
- Sept. 25 — Ms. Lauryn Hill
