18 Year Old Charged with DUI, Pot Possession on Skokie Valley Road

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest does not indicate guilt.

DUI/Cannabis possession

Caleb Gilham, 18, of the 500 block of W. Kinzie in Chicago, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 27 and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and possession of cannabis after being stopped by police in the 1500 block of Skokie Valley Road. Gilham was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 3 court date.

Driving while license suspended

Erick Miranda, 35, of the 1800 block of N. Washtenaw in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle, no valid registration and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4:15 a.m. Aug. 28. Miranda was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Sept. 24 court date.

Driving while license suspended

Rodney Dawson, 44, of the 22600 block of Brookwood Lane in Sauk Village, was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed after police responded to a two-car accident near the intersection of Half Day and Skokie Valley roads at 4:15 a.m. Aug. 28. Dawson was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Sept. 24 court date.

Domestic battery

Filogonio Delgado-Rodriguez, 42, of the 1500 block of McDaniels Avenue in Highland Park, was arrested and charged with domestic battery after police responded to a dispute at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 31. Delgado-Rodriguez was transported to bond court pending court date.
