2 Arrested for Speeding More than 35 MPH Over Limit on Skokie Valley Rd.
Also, someone tried to break into homes on McDaniels and Deere Park Court.

SPEEDING 35MPH + OVER THE LIMIT
Adriana Bedoya, 20, of the 2200 block of Western Avenue in Waukegan was charged speeding 35mph+ over the limit and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 2 a.m. Sept. 30. Bedoya was released on a personal recognizance bond with an Oct. 22 court date.

SPEEDING 35MPH + OVER THE LIMIT
Rodney Boatey, 30, of the 800 block of W. Grace in Chicago, was arrested and charged speeding 35mph+ over the limit and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 3 p.m. Oct. 5. Boatey was released on a personal recognizance bond with a Nov. 12 court date.

THEFT
Someone stole a gray and white boys Gary Fisher mountain bike and a red boys Huffy motorcycle bike between 4 p.m. Sept. 20 and 8 a.m. Sept. 22. from the front of a home in the 3000 block of Murphy Road. The Huffy was later found in bushes on Walker Avenue.
THEFT
A white 16GB iPpad mini was discovered missing Sept. 29 from a residence in the 1700 block of Clavey Road after having multiple contractors in and around the residence.
THEFT
A Black 1997 Jeep was parked in a lot in the 1800 block of Second Street on Sept 30. Between 6:45 and 10 p.m., the driver’s side upper soft portion of the window was taken. The doors were unlocked along with the rear window unzipped.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
An inappropriate statement was written in pen on the wall in a residential hallway in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road Oct. 2. There is no permanent damage and the writing was removed.
ATTEMPT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Someone tried to pry open a rear door in to a home in the 100 block of Deere Park Court between 2 and 4 p.m. Oct. 3. Entry to the residence was not gained.
THEFT
Sometime between 3:00pm and 8:45pm, Someone stole a 2010 Cannondale LXS after the garage door to a home in the 1800 block of Linden Avenue was left open between 3 and 8:45 p.m. Oct. 3.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Someone pierced three tires on a black Ford Explorer parked in front of a business in the 1500 block of Old Skokie Road between 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3 and 8:40 a.m. Oct. 4.
ATTEMPT RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Someone tried to enter a home in the 1300 block of McDaniels Avenue by prying the rear slider between 4 p.m. Oct. 3 and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 5. It does not appear that entry was gained although the lock was broken. Nothing is missing from the home.
