Autohaus On Edens Pledges 5 Year Support For Community Foundation
The luxury car dealership committed $25,000 to the Highland Park Community Foundation to help fund small businesses and programs

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Northbrook-based luxury car dealer Autohaus on Edens has made a $25,000 commitment for five years with the Highland Park Community Foundation. The North Shore business is the most recent to sign onto the foundation's HPCF Corporate Champion Program.
Through Autohaus on Eden's pledge, the foundation said it can continue to fund community-based programs and services for Highland Park and Highwood residents.
Some of those funds will also go towards HPCF's annual grants to nonprofits and agencies that provide a service to the community. The foundation's annual grants address needs in five main categories: education, human services, senior services, services for individuals with disabilities, and the creative and cultural arts. Since March of 2020, the group has also awarded COVID-19 emergency grants to address urgent needs stemming from the pandemic.

Currently, the foundation serves over 50 local companies, according to Chairman David Reich.
"I am a strong believer in supporting the community you live in with purpose," said Michael Rosengarden, president of Autohaus on Edens and long-term Highland Park resident. "My father bought [Autohaus on Edens] back in 1972 and as a boy and young man, I watched him create relationships that were based on integrity and friendship. I learned in those years that the potential to do remarkable things as a group, whether it be the work family or DNA family, really hinged on how well we all learned to work together."

The HPCF began in 1992 and has since distributed nearly $3.2 million in grants. Corporate Champion partnerships, like the one Autohaus on Edens entered into, fund the majority of the foundation's grant awards in addition to private donations. According to a spokeswoman for the foundation, the car dealer pledged $5,000 a year for five years.
