Catch Dinner and a Show at Ravinia for $40
See the vocal artists from Ravinia's Steans Music Institute tonight, and get a delicious meal while you're at it.
Vocal Artists from Ravinia Steans Music Institute perform on Monday night at 7 p.m. at Ravinia. This $10 BGH Classics Series concert will feature the fellows from Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute Program for Singers who are under the direction of Kevin Murphy. The evening program will include works by Britten in celebration of his centennial.
Ravinia is offering a unique concert/dining package for $40 per performance, which comes with dinner in the Freehling Room followed by the performance in the Bennett Gordon Hall.
Unfortunately, Takács String Quartet has canceled the other Ravinia show scheduled for Monday. One of its members recently had minor surgery and the recovery is taking longer than expected. Ravinia hopes to reschedule the complete Bartok Quartets by the Takacs for a future season.
