Clavey Road To Close For Railroad Repair
Union Pacific's construction work will begin Monday and is expected to be complete by Friday.
HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Railroad construction work will close Clavey Road to traffic in both directions starting Monday. Union Pacific Railroad is proceeding ahead with repairs "despite repeated city efforts" to delay or reschedule the work, according to an announcement from Highland Park.
All traffic will be closed for the repairs. Posted detours will direct drivers south to Lake Cook Road from Ridge Road to Skokie Valley Road.
The construction work is expected to be complete by Friday. Residents seeking more information were asked to contact Union Pacific at 800-848-8715.
