Detached Homes Could Replace Dart House in Highland Park
A petition for 'Heritage' has passed the plan commission for the 4.6-acre site on Lake Cook Road.

A dozen single-family detached homes could soon replace the now demolished Edward Dart home on a 4.6-acre site on Lake Cook Road in Highland Park.
A petition by developer Jacobs Companies for the planned unit, Heritage, has already passed the city’s plan and design commission and is now set to be considered by the Highland Park City Council, according to the Highland Park News.
If approved, the homes will be built on the sites of 1005, 1021 and 1055 Lake Cook Road. The developer’s petition said the homes “will be ideal for smaller households and those who do not wish to do extensive home maintenance.”
