Developer Plans 10 Homes for Livingston/Compton Corner in Highland Park

The Jacobs Companies will seek approval to develop on flooding-prone site.

The Jacobs Companies will soon seek approval from the city for Hidden Oak, a development of detached homes on the site where Spectrum Retirement Communities had hoped to construct an 89-unit assisted living facility, the Highland Park News.

The property is prone to flooding, which city officials and developers have noted makes it difficult and costly to develop.

The News reports early plans call for the construction of 10 building pads, each around 2,700 square feet. The homes would be constructed on the pads, five on Livingston and five on Compton.
