Father-Daughter Duo of Sarah Greene and Steven Greene to perform

The Father-Daughter Duo of Sarah Michelle Greene, violist and Steven Greene, pianist are to perform on November 8th at 2 PM Central Time

Sarah Michelle Greene is an award-winning Violist, Violinist, Vocalist, and Actress who has travelled the world and has been lauded for her exceptional musicality. She has appeared as a soloist in many top concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Preston Bradley Hall in the Chicago Cultural Center, and Ravinia's Bennet Gordon Hall, Kosciusko Foundation Auditorium in New York City, and as a Jazz vocal soloist in the Peoria Civic Center. She effortlessly moves between classical, jazz, rock and electro-acoustic music genres. She has toured around the world playing chamber music in a piano quintet for Lincoln Center Stage. She currently performs with the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra as a Violinist and as a Violist, and has performed on national radio and television shows such as Glee!, The Forsters, Fargo and more. Sarah holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and USC’s Thornton School of Music. Sarah will perform works by Cesar Franck, York Bowen. She will collaborate with her Father, Steven Greene on piano.

Steven Greene, a collaborative pianist, holds degrees from Amherst College, Yale School of Music and Indiana University. He has concertized and recorded extensively with his wife, Steinway Artist Susan Merdinger, as the Merdinger-Greene Duo. He is a highly sought-after accompanist in the Chicago area, and serves as Music Director of the Christ United Methodist Church in Deerfield, IL. His full-time career has been in banking for over 30 years, and he presently is employed as a Vice President and Private Wealth Manager for Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, in Highland Park.
