Local Moms Help Give Back to Area Foster Children

Warren Cheer and Moms showed a lot of spirit for National Foster Care Month! On Saturday, May 25 they delivered surprises for foster children. From flip flops to necessities this team left no stone unturned. Throughout the year WC&P have helped restock FAH4K shelves with food for homeless youth, organized FAH4K's space, filled care-packages, and made sure every foster child had a sweet message on each care-package they filled.
The parents at WTC&P routinely take time out of their busy schedules to help our sponsored foster children and homeless youth.

Thousands of children are in critical need across Illinois and there has been a rise in child abuse, trafficking and childhood homelessness. Around the clock, the founders of FAH4K field requests to help homeless and at-risk children in desperate circumstances. These children need to know they are safe and local communities care about them.

Fill a Heart 4 Kids has exciting news! Over 100 of their foster children living in group facilities are graduating from 8th grade and high-school!

Fill a Heart 4 Kids would love to flood our kids with congratulations cards from caring mamas! If you have 5 minutes to write a loving message on a graduation card, please send them our way!

Cards will be hand delivered to our awesome children June 2-5. Please deliver your card by June 1.

Here’s an example of the perfect message:
Congratulations on your graduation! I’m so proud of you for working hard in school! I know you’re going to accomplish great things in your life. You are smart and good. I believe in you!

Important check list:1. We will add each child’s name on the cards.
2. Please do not seal the envelope. We are required to read each card before we give them to the child.
