HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The North Shore School District 112 is offering free meals for kids in the coming weeks while schools are closed, an action taken to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

A flyer from the school district said meals will be offered for the week of March 16 to 19, as there's no school on March 20, and school days from March 30 to April 13. Lunch will not be offered during the scheduled spring break of March 23 to 27.

The flyer says the Child Nutrition Staff will offer Grab and Go breakfast and lunch via curbside service at Oak Terrace School at 240 Prairie Ave, Highwood at the rear of the building at entrance C-3.
