Highland Park, Deerfield High School Parents Invited to Technology Workshop
Called "Decoding the District 113 Tech Maze," the workshop is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Deerfield Public Library.

The following is from District 113:
Deerfield Parent Network will present a program for Highland Park High School and Deerfield High School parents/guardians called “Decoding the District 113 Tech Maze” at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Deerfield Public Library.
Join a conversation with Joseph Taylor, director of instructional technology at DHS, and learn about how internet safety and digital citizenship impacts your teen. This new program is designed specifically to educate high school parents. Additional topics include:

- Tips to help/support students at home
- Resources to help students with homework and prepare for college
- Guidance to help families evaluate digital media and technology
This will be an open dialogue, so please bring any other questions you may have.
