Highland Park High School 2019 Football Scores, Schedule

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The Highland Park High School football season continues Friday away at Vernon Hills. To find the latest scores or complete schedule for the 2019 season for the HPHS varsity squad, check out the scoreboard below.

The Giants (2-3) last week claimed their second win of the year with a 50-6 victory over Maine East in the first game of Central Suburban League play. It was the first win since an opening night victory over Wheeling. Their next opponent, the undefeated Vernon Hills Cougars (4-0) began conference play with a 34-9 win over Niles North.

Last year, the Giants finished with a 4-5 record, going 2-3 in conference play, in their first season under Head Coach David Lindquist. The HPHS alum and former captain of the University of Illinois football team helped revive the Little Giants football program by combining it with Deerfield's Little Warriors.
