Highland Park Police Blotter: Battery, DUI, Suspended License

Domestic Battery
Matthew J. Smith, 23, of the 2100 block of Park Lane, Highland Park, was arrested Jan. 15 at 8:33 a.m. and charged with domestic battery, insulting/provoking contact and resisting/obstructing a peace officer after police responded to a complaint in the 2100 block or Park Lane. Smith was processed and transported to bond court in Waukegan.

Driving with a Suspended License
Quinntin D. Coleman, 24, of the 2300 block of Sherman Avenue, North Chicago, was arrested Jan. 15 at 2:22 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended drivers license and speeding after police conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road. Coleman was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Feb. 24, in Park City.

Sharron D. Hill, 29, of the 2800 block of W. Warren Boulevard, Chicago, was arrested Jan. 14 at 3:35 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended drivers license, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after police conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Road. Hill was released on a recognizance bond with a court date of Feb. 10 in Park City.
Artemis C. Thompkins, 25, of the 6300 block of 73rd Street, Kenosha, was arrested Jan. 12 at 3:44 a.m. and charged with driving with a suspended drivers license and improper lane usage after police conducted a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road. Thompkins was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Jan. 27 in Park City.
DUI
Charles Lemont Guyton, 21, of the 400 block of 49th Street, Bellwood, was arrested Jan. 16 at 2:31 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and speeding after police conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Half Day Road. Guyton was released on a recognizance bond with a court date of Feb. 19 in Waukegan.
Edilberto Perez Callaja, 37, of the 0-100 block Prairie Avenue, Highwood, was arrested Jan. 14 at 8:43 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage after police conducted a traffic stop in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road. Callaja was released on a cash bond with a court date of Feb. 5 in Waukegan.
